We chopped it up with Vegas native Christian Kuya. Originally from the Philippines. Kuya is arguably one of the Dopest artist you’ll come across from THE 702. We got Kuya’s take on being an artist from The Sin City, his movement Cuzzi Gang and performing outside the city.
Some women cry when their heart is broken, but Christian Kuya decided to write a song about it. Inviting her to join him & forget about her lame a** ex. “Your man trippin he a mess/Hey Big Head on my text now tired of dealing with the stress now,” he sings. The line that is how a lot of drunk texts go especially in the summer.
A brief look at his instagram will reveal his affinity for Dope Vibes and beautiful half naked women. This seems to be a norm for The Cuzzi Gang.
Dope TV: Being from Vegas what is the music scene like?
Christian Kuya: There’s hella Dope artist from Vegas “Its like the next LA” but mostly only A list artist thrive here cuz Vegas is so commercial so I focus on my markets.
Dope TV: What do you do to stand out?
Christian Kuya: That’s why I travel so much Hawaii, Dallas, San Antonio, all over Cali. Everything my team do is strategic. “I focus on my markets and let it grow from there.
Dope TV: To Dope what would you say is your favorite city?
Christian Kuya: Hawii or San Antonio
Dope TV: Can you explain what Cuzzi Gang is?
Christian Kuya: “Its the new wave.” Cuzzi Gang is my movement, as far as Vegas goes we are definitely putting on for the city lol
Dope TV: Your sound is Dope who influenced you musically?
Christian Kuya: Music from the 06 era and beyond. “I moved to the US around that time and that’s when I started listening to music here.”

Christian Kuya: “24hrs, Madeintyo those are my bros fasho.”
